Macy Young joined Stoll Keenon Ogden as an Associate in 2024 and is part of the Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits practice group in Lexington. After completing undergraduate degrees in economics and accounting at the University of Kentucky, Macy worked for over three years at Deloitte Consulting in the Government & Public Services sector. She then earned her J.D. at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.

This session walks through how these laws intersect, where employers most often get tripped up, and how everyday documentation decisions can either protect your organization or become a key document in a lawsuit. Using real-world scenarios, we will cover qualifying leave, intermittent absences, reasonable accommodations, the interactive process, and how to document performance and attendance issues in a legally defensible way.
