Michael is the Managing Partner and CEO of Leadership Strategies Group, where he helps organizations strengthen leadership, improve performance, and build more reliable teams. His work centers on translating workplace expectations into clear, practical behaviors that drive consistency and results. He designs and delivers hands-on training experiences that help individuals build communication, accountability, and reliability from the start, including leading a recent workforce readiness workshop focused on entry-level talent. Michael has delivered coaching, training, and consulting across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, government, and nonprofit organizations. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from Western Kentucky University, and additional certifications in leadership.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:1. Identify the most common readiness gaps affecting entry-level employees in the first 30 to 90 days of employment. 2. Recognize the disconnect between employer expectations and how new hires interpret those expectations in daily work. 3. Explain why “common sense” expectations often fail without clear behavioral definition. 4. Translate broad expectations (e.g., communication, accountability) into specific, observable workplace behaviors. 5. Apply practical strategies to strengthen early accountability, improve communication, and increase retention.
